For those who are ain't familiar with the term, a Nether Highway is a network of nether portals which allows you to travel great distances in relative safety and comfort. Usually on a server, this network is maintained by the community as a whole, and is consider sacred even between warring factions. As such, please be considerate and keep this highway healthy for all players.

 

As of this writing, only the +Z Highway (this means as you travel down the highway, your Z coordinates increases)  has been created with 2 additional portals, one in front of @xsianx's farm, and one inside my guest house. ( @xsianx paisei, didn't ask you if you wanted it, if you don't, do tell me and I will remove it)

 

When you cross through the portal at base camp, you will see a signboard directing you to turn left

 

Portals can be on the left or right of the highway, there are signboards to induct where the portals lead too

 

You will also notice the X and Z coordinates of the locations listed, so as to help you travel quickly to locates near the exits.

 

Feel free to link your existing creations to the highway, or if you ain't sure how to do it, I'll be happy to help.

The GriefPrevention plugin prevents pistons from pushing or pulling blocks across the boundary of a claim

With lots of help from @Palladium92, who watched my back while I build up the room, public works have been extended with a cave spider farm!

 

 

Hit the spiders from the slit between the slab and the iron trapdoors, remember not to stand too close or they will hit back! They will not escape as long as the structure holds.

 

After you killed of the wave of spiders, squat near the middle chest to collect your XP

 

Drops like strings and eyes can be collected in the chests below

We lucked out by finding more than one spawner, presenting to you another extension to our public works, skeleton farm

Press Reporter: Comrade Huat, it has been a few days since your last report, has our Great Work to unify all servers under Administrator @kokleong been keeping you busy?

 

Comrade Huat: Yes it has Comrade Reporter, we will be release reports on our public works in the past few days shortly.

 

Press Reporter: Excellent! May the light of Mugentech shine upon the world! Comrade Huat, can you tell us more of this new and exciting facility behind us?

 

Comrade Huat: Yes Comrade Reporter, as you know, there are some NPCs who have been twisted by the evil lies of Mugentech's enemies. To help them see the light of Mugentech again, we have built this re-education center behind us. This facility will guide them back to the sacred teachings of Administrator @kokleong, as well as protect them from evil mob spawns in the area.

 

 

Press Reporter: Comrade Huat, how does this facility do all that for the NPCs?!

 

Comrade Huat: Well Comrade Reporter, anything is possible under the guidance of our Great Administrator. as you can see in our facility, there is a lot of labour to help them reflect on the wisdom of Administrator @kokleong's teachings. We have also assigned jobs to each student at the facility, to help them better understand their servitude to the players.

 

 

 

Press Reporter: Great Adminstrator be praised! How does your team guide them through all these activity?

 

Comrade Huat: By the wisdom of the Great Administrator, we have designed the rooms to be open to our monitoring, there is also a secure guard room for players to monitor the NPCs

 

 

Press Reporter: One final thing before we send you off to finish the Great Work Comrade Huat, how do we access this facility?

 

Comrade Huat: The Great Administrator has decree that this facility is off limits to other NPCs, to prevent them from distracting the studies of the students. Players can visit this facility on the new +Z nether Highway.

General @Palladium92 we have secured the nether portal to the ender portal

 

 

The entrance is between my guest house and @xsianx's village.

Got lost on the way back over land (long story, don't ask) from the stronghold and found 2 villages.

X-879 / Z1368

 

I bricked most of the villagers in their houses, so they are safe for now. If anyone is interested to claim them, just tell me which and I'll land a portal there.
