1) Remove oggiginal viewer

2) slide front cam module in. Since through hole is big I just let the connecting module sit in the base. 3M tape to stick front cam to door.

There's doorbell function

3) go behind door and pull the connecting flat cable out. Then take the rear plastic panel and plug the cable pin below the base.

add the provided screw in according to door thickness. Then slide base in and tighten screw.

Tidy the cable in that rectangler section below the screw (that's where the flat cable runs through also) and use given cover to cover it. At this point the main LCD can slide in/out anytime to charge.

Just saying... if the Lithium battery catches fire, I am assuming it uses Lithium battery, u do know u have no where to run right?

Actually lidat alot of thing need to take precautions liao

Especially sitting backseat in hybrid car

although in all seriousness given this situation consideration:

- Encased in Alloy
- Lithium battery pack come in sealed foil to reduce this risk
- Product received award in CES 2018 (mean design not too shabby)
- Product has below certifications

Lithium battery by design is an unstable element. I know we have heaps of it around us at home but we don't usually stock them at the main door right? Certifications mean nothing. Manufactured batteries all fall within a range of acceptable quality and specifications. All that is need is one that's on the fringe that will cause issues later.

Design not shabby doesn't translate across to a proper manufactured product; imho they are mutually exclusive. Look at what happened to Samsuck, Flapple... they have certifications and supposed to have high quality and protections etc but their phone still combusted right?

Just saying lah, no offence meant.

Nope, moi off moi phone during sleep.

jskm but in any case still number of recharging cycle counts to lifespan

unless ur mobile phone only charge once a month, otherwise likely this viewer battery will outlast

that is assuming both gadgets have same quality of battery
