All my current consoles are without online subscription. 

 

Most games which i own can be play without Playstation plus /nintendo switch online subscription.

PS4 brand new might be hard to find unless u buy pre-own one.

 

PS5 local set even hard to get.i'm on sony waiting list since ps5 launch also cannot get one. In the end i paid $1190  to get hk set.(local warranty cover) Don't get the jap set (local warranty no cover) or china set (taobao selling cheap but got game restrictions )

i read online they say all game and those free to play game that that want to play with other player all need to pay sub

me just thinking if it worth it to game console without paying them their monthly sub, and also to plan for my new home, to get a $800 to 900 GFX or $770 for ps5 and 200 to 300 for gfx

Those games which u want to play online with other players need to pay monthly subs.

 

Think of whether are you interested in those consoles games. The pro is no need to worry graphics card requirement which pc games need to consider.

 

Played watch dogs,horizon zero,god of war,the legend of zelda :breath of the wild,etc all without monthly subs.

Ps 5 games can be more expensive than ps4 games.

can i ask you one more question?

 

 

if you dont have a console yet. which one will you get? xbox or ps?

 

the reason i ask is the new gpu is super expensive a mid range gpu ( 4060 or 4070) already 1k. a mid high end like 4080 will be around 3k.

 

if i get 4080 it will be 3k. then psu need new one (1000watt and above) + cpu and mobo all need to upgrade

in short it be 5 to 6k range

 

i dont have both console so i asking those that have is better

For consoles, just think what games you are interested in playing. I always tell that to customers when i was doing retail sales in sls.

 

Some games are exclusive to that console.

 

Eg, splatoon series only on nintendo switch. Halo series only on xbox & pc. Grand turismo series on playstation.

 

There are certain games that is best play on pc unless u can adapt well to playing on consoles. (Eg, Diablo 3, call of duty)

 

For me i will try not to do too much upgrade on graphics card unless i really love that game very much to change a new expensive pc (after all i love pc gaming)

 

So ps and nintendo will be the ones filling up those graphics intense games which i can't run smoothly on pc. 

 

Note : for ps5 console best to buy the disc version instead of digital version. At least you can sell off the physical  game disc after u completed it.
