Three customers who visited Choa Chu Kang MRT's Bakery Cuisine outlet spent more time there than expected on Nov. 27, 2025. They were among seven people trapped inside the shop, and were freed after one and a half hours. Door closed A video recently posted by TikTok user @brandondon_ showed people loitering inside the shop. The door of the Bakery Cuisine store was closed, and several workers were seen outside. One worker appeared to be attempting to open the door. Video via brandondon_/TikTok Cones and barricades had been placed to prevent people from entering the shop. Lock was stuck In response to Mothership's queries, Bakery Cuisine said the incident occurred around 8pm on Nov. 27 at its 10 Choa Chu Kang Ave 4 outlet. It added that seven people were trapped in the shop for one and a half hours, including three customers, three staff members and one locksmith. The incident had occurred while their locksmith was servicing the lock. Bakery Cuisine said that "somehow the lock was stuck from outside" and the locksmith had to call another locksmith to open the door from outside the shop. Following the incident, Bakery Cuisine said: "We do our maintenance regularly." 1 2
