The average lifespan of all my desktop is around 8yr.

This currently pc is already 7.2yr old. Once I build a new one the next build will be 2028.

But this time I planning to get 2 system, one gaming (desktop) and one that using the least power (laptop)

my dell laptop lasted me almost 6 yrs, time for upgrade so bot asus b4 curfew.

for desktop, at first wanted to get an aio but after finding out that it overheat easily, now narrow down candidate to either dell optiplex or asus pro or rig build based on i5 9th gen.

but will only decide next yr since this one is purely for work.

Can go for ITX or HTPC build. All standard parts except for motherboard and maybe power supply.

Don't get all aio. It not so much about the heat cause better casing and heatsink or water-cooling. It mainly the CPU and GPU will eat up lot of power even in Idle mode.

If you got the time the rig build else you can get ppl to build for you.
