Driver did not slow down at pedestrian crossing. You have to slow down even if there is no one crossing

He is looking down and checking if there is anyone trapped underneath. The driver wouldnt realize he knocked the boy because it was at his blind spot

Yes actually alot of ppl misunderstood the driver. he was checking below the van since the kid stood up when the driver came to the front so he thought the kid is not the one who got knock down since there's the hump, driver assumed that he roll over the person he knocked down.
