    Exciting injury time

@Homelander @metalrover you think ben brereton diaz will score consistently in PL?

Delighted for him, he's trying hard to put himself in the shopping window for PL teams to notice him. But dont think he is PL quality or anywhere near consistent, tbh.

@metalrover one of the rare performances that we can be proud of haha

What a comeback after midweek 5-0 ashton gate trashing. Sg pools $8 for away win. One more win on Sunday, we will be safe from relegation.

  2. GIRL’S FATHER WANTS HER TO START WEARING A BRA AROUND THE HOUSE

    spacer.png

My dad wants me to start wearing a bra around the house

    Advertisements

I (18F) stopped wearing bras around the house around 2 years ago. I didn’t like coming home from school and feeling that thing around my back and chest.

Now my dad is saying that I need to wear a bra. My mom says that “He’s a man, it’s distracting, he doesn’t need to see his daughters like that.”

As if I’m walking around completely topless. I just want to be comfortable, is that wrong? I feel like my body is something that needs to be censored and covered up all the time even at home.

He says that if my chest were smaller I could get away with it but I can’t because I have a larger chest. It’s really frustrating.

    To address some things

My dad isn’t the one who actually told me my chest is distracting, my mom was. Out of both of them, my mom is the more conservative of the two of them.

She has a lot of bigoted ideals, my not wearing a bra is just one of her many gripes with some things I do.

And another thing, please stop calling my dad a creep. I know how the post sounds, but I think it’s more of him being conditioned to be repulsed by his daughter’s body. but it is still very frustrating to be told to strap on a bra when I’m trying to relax.

I liked watching Rob Jones go forward. Too bad always injured like Redknapp.

in the 90s Blackburn team i liked Wilcox, Ripley. As Liverpool fans we really thought and hoped Blackburn sure win 93/94 season after beating Manure.
Good memories watching the games but bad memories cos Manure always won

Jones solid fullback, bjornebye was slower but his setpiece skills much better but ageing already. I remember my pool classmates always haolian to me this back five : john scales, mark wright, phil babb/ ruddock, jones, bjornebye.

I remember arguing with ppl who claimed blackburn bought the title. Wilcox was developed from the academy, mark atkins was plucked from non league Scunthorpe. Bought the title my foot.

Gone are the days of the traditional 442 wide men like ripley & wilcox. Dash to the byline and cross into the box

Most Liverpool fans actually thought of him as an over the hill signing.
in fact we more happy about signing Leonhardsen then 😂

Roy Evans had a young team then suddenly ah pek Ince joined.

Typical Hodgson. When panic blame others too

Oyvind Leonhardson and roy's 532 passing was a joy to watch, mcmanaman was one of best dribbers. Everytime the ball goes to him, i remembered pool fans sitting on the edge of their seats.

Hodgson rovers era, reputation was continental standard. But cmi man

Never liked Ince even though we signed him from Inter and not directly after manure. Especially making him captain the moment he joined. One of the worst Liverpool teams in history esp when Houllier took charge solo.
coincidentally today is his death anni

the only Manure player in recent memory that Liverpool fans actually didn’t mind was Heinze.

souness had no experience. At least won 1 FA cup

Ince during that era was touted as the last missing piece of the liverpool jigsaw puzzle. Not bad player but lousy manager

Then hired Hodgson and thought they had new Shearer in Kevin Davies

Hodgson actually did well in the early days as Rovers manager, but once results dont go his way,  he panicked and got no idea how to stop the rot. Ended up panicked buy a lot of poor overpriced players. Kevin Davies arrived as a record signing 7.5m, he was under a lot pressure to live up to that price tag. Obviously no where near AS, but he did ok at bolton

They threw record signing Chris Sutton from striker to defender

The success of Paul Warhurst converted to a make shift centre back. No repeated success story.

Mark Hughes era, giant defender Christopher Samba thrown in as spare tyre striker

Really a waste when Kenny won the epl then let cmi manyzer take over..

Yeah that part i cannot understand Uncle Jack’s thinking. Instead of continuing with King Kenny and building on, he gk promote him to director.

Late Ray Harford was promoted from rovers coach to manager. He actually was very familiar that title winning squad. But that squad was already ageing, lack of strengthening and renewal saw a rapid decline.

    9 hours ago, ManOfTheHour said:

Recently Hughes claimed that Liverpool spoke to him about replacing Hodgson. That’s how bad those times were when an ex Man Utd player was considered

Actually ex man u player who signed for liverpool, dont seem to be much hated there. Like ince

kenny has this bad habit. Even when he left Liverpool, felt sudden then they anyhow give Souness the job out of sentiment.
i am so glad the current bosses tell Klopp off when he tries to offer dinosaurs new contracts out of sentiment too

Souness screwed it up big time there, but he was decent at blackburn until late 2003 when he seemed to have lost the plot.

He was doing well with us. Got us to europe and semi finals of cup competitions

I also appreciate Souness who won us the league cup. Not easy when your club doesn’t win trophies much (see Newcastle).

Both left for bigger clubs & in both cases didnt worked out in the end. I see JDT following their footsteps in a few years time

  9. WOMAN HELPS BF PCC & RUBS HIM INSIDE MRT, GUY TRIES TO HIDE IT WITH BAGS BUT FAIL

    spacer.png

A video emerged online showing a woman and a man engaging in an obscene act inside an MRT train cabin, in front of the other commuters.

    Advertisements

It is unclear where exactly the incident happened but according to the announcement inside the train, “next station, Choa Chu Kang,” the act is believed to have happened in Singapore.

    What happened?

In the video, the woman was seen pretending to “sleep” on the guy’s shoulder while her hand moved in an up and down motion on his private area.

The guy then tries to hide what the woman is doing by holding two of his bags in front of his pelvis, as the woman then started using both of her hands.

The couple then tried to pretend that they were “cuddling” as he continued to help the guy “rub one off”, with her right hand continuing to move up and down on his pelvis.

  10. Sepultura Announce First Dates of Farewell Tour, Release Statement

    spacer.png

Brazilian metal legends Sepultura have just announced that they will embark on an 18-month farewell tour, beginning next year with dates in the U.K. and Europe.

In a lengthy statement, Sepultura say they plan to celebrate "40 years of existence together" with a globetrotting tour, reflecting on their own legacy while thanking fans for their decades of support.

The band also plans to record 40 songs live in 40 cities, which will later be released as a compilation.

Read the entire statement and see the first series of farewell dates further down the page. Sepultura will be joined by Jinjer, Obituary and Jesus Piece. Look for tickets go on sale on Dec. 13 at 10AM CET at this location.

    Sepultura's Farewell Statement

Sepultura has reached the end of the road and has chosen to depart via a conscious and planned death.

Throughout the next 18 months we will celebrate 40 years of existence together along with our loyal fans on a farewell tour across the entire globe.

It will be a celebration of the past and the present for one final time.

After 4 decades filled with ups and downs, having visited 80 countries and countless different cultures, we’ve had the chance to become Brazil’s messenger to the world and spread our colors and rhythms worldwide. With our latest studio album Quadra, a highlight of our career, we added an unforgettable chapter followed by the SepulQuarta experience that helped us to overcome the difficult times of the pandemic together. We will unite our forces for one final, strong farewell. And all of you can be a part of it.

During this 40th anniversary tour, we will record 40 live tracks in 40 different cities and release a massive compilation of our best, most energetic moments on stage.
We are happy and very grateful for everything we could witness within the past four decades. We have released great albums and played unforgettable shows, cultivated friendships, met our idols, contributed to placing Brazilian metal on the world map, and therefore feel that we can leave the music scene with a sense of duty fulfilled.

We’ve always had the best fans in the world, who supported us with praise and criticism, who were demanding and intelligent, who grew together with the band and have always been loyal. Without you, none of this would have been possible. This album and this tour are for you. Dear SepulNation - we love you and always will!

Euthanasia, the right to a dignified death. The right to choose to live free and to choose when you die!

Formed in 1984, Sepultura largely helped to establish Brazil as a contender on the global metal stage. After recording two raw death-trash albums, they signed with Roadrunner Records and released Beneath the Remains in 1986, one of the flagship thrash albums of its era.

As one of metal's most innovative groups in the '80s and into the '90s, the band never settled into one particular style, experimenting with new elements of extremity and heaviness along the way, leading up to their seminal 1996 record Roots.

Vocalist and guitarist Max Cavalera departed the lineup after the release of Roots, which led to Ohio vocalist Derrick Green joining as Sepultura's new frontman in 1998, where he's remained ever since, contributing to nine studio albums.

And so the heavy metal community prepares to say goodbye to yet another one of our favorite bands, fists raised until the end.
