  3. Immigration raids 2 KL massage parlours, 15 arrested KUALA LUMPUR: Two massage parlours here offering "extra services" were raided by the Immigration Department yesterday (June 24). During the raid, several foreign women who were in the "heat of the moment" with their customers panicked upon realising the presence of Immigration officers. Some of the women refused to open the doors for inspection. One of the massage parlours offered "premium" packages at RM580 per session. Kuala Lumpur Immigration Department director Wan Mohammed Saupee Wan Yusoff said Op Gegar led to the detention of 15 people, aged 25 to 40. "Our team raided two premises in Taman Maluri and Taman Connaught and inspected 26 people Of the 15 detained, 13 were foreign women suspected of working at the premises," he said today. He said checks revealed that seven of the women were from Vietnam, three from Thailand, two from Indonesia and one from Laos. "Two others detained were men who were hired as caretakers and coordinators of the premises. "The detained women were sent to the Kuala Lumpur Immigration Detention Depot for further action." The case is being investigated under the Immigration Act 1959/63 and Regulation

  4. The Shuttle Tebrau train service between Johor Bahru and Woodlands will cease operations in 2027 after the Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link begins its service. “(The Shuttle Tebrau) service will be terminated within six months after RTS Link begins operations on Jan 1, 2027,” Johor’s Works, Transport, Infrastructure, and Communications Committee chairman Mohamad Fazli Mohamad Salleh was quoted by local media outlet Harian Metro as saying in a June 24 report. Operated by Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad, Shuttle Tebrau began transporting passengers between Singapore and Malaysia in July 2015. A ticket for the five-minute journey into Singapore costs RM5 (S$1.50), and $5 into Malaysia. “With a track length of 1.1km, this service is capable of carrying 8,635 passengers a day with a frequency of 31 trips in both directions,” Mr Fazli reportedly said. The new 4km RTS Link, which will connect travellers between Woodlands North in Singapore and Bukit Chagar in Johor in five minutes, is scheduled for completion by December 2026 and expected to be operational in early 2027. The fare for the rail link has yet to be announced, but will be set by the operator closer to the completion of the project. https://www.straitstimes.com/asia/s...hin-6-months-after-rts-link-begins-operations

  7. KFC is known for finger lickin' good chicken -- not facials. However, a woman was seen applying skincare products on another woman inside the fast food outlet at Junction 8 on June 25. Stomper Delphine, who was dining in the fast food restaurant at about 4.15pm, said the women did not appear to have ordered any food. She said: "This group of ladies didn't order any KFC items. They occupied a table near the pick-up counter and were doing a facial." A video Delphine shared with Stomp shows a woman standing while applying facial products on a woman sitting down on a chair. "There was the smell of facial chemicals and fried chicken," she said. "Shouldn't the manager or staff on duty at the counter have politely asked them to cease their facial activity? "This was not a pleasant dining experience." In response to a Stomp query, a KFC spokeswoman said the customer had contacted KFC through their feedback channel. She said: "I'm happy to confirm that we have reached out to the customer and resolved the matter." The spokeswoman added that KFC is "committed to providing excellent customer service to everyone."

  12. Using condensate tablet to test out on my AC. i tested it for 4 cycle aka 4 month. in short the tablet if you partly remove drain pan to put the whole tablet in or if you dont want remove drain pan, it will work also but you need to chop into 8pcs (4 pc or half a tablet i have mix result) so using this if you remove drain pan you can put 2 inside here at the very end of the corner if you cut a tablet, you need to cut into 8small pcs, or 16pc for 2 tablet it will rest on the side of the drain pan water will then turn green. but it lasted for 2 to 3 times as in it dissolve fast not sure if it work or not, this is my drain pan when nv been clean before for over 8 mth. it still wet cause my on my AC for over 15hr and then 45min of fan mode ( it seem 45min of fan mode is not enough, maybe 1.3hr of fan mode) this is the amount of water from my drain pipe after 52hr (over 3 days)

  13. the roller is an important part to clean if you live in dusty area. any ac servicing that dont clean roller by default i ban. I've heard shit about midea but when i stayed in JB serviced apartment they use midea and it worked well. just that i think the compressor sounds crazy loud dunno why my BTO i used brand new daikin smile series 5 ticks. thought i loved it but for some reason the roller always damn dusty and clogged. my AC filter evey mth sure dirty like fuck. every 6 mths sure need to service if not start dripping water. then now i use old Mitsubishi starmex 3 ticks, for some reason much cleaner, AC filter like not need clean after a mth. bill also lower than daikin. not apple to apple comparison, but based on my experience, maybe next house likely Mitsubishi.

  19. a lot of country washing dont really take out blower unless it super dirty like few yr nv wash type. by default other country normal wash is pressure wash with blower inside my system 1 12k btu energy usage me using starmex system 1 12k btu, MUY-GP13VF. this is based on agar agar MUY-GP13VF standby power consumption this will be the electricity i use per month on average 5 kWh over 3 month Water heater : switch on 10min per month AC: switch on every 2 times per month (35min cooling mode at 25c then before switching off i change to fan mode for another 35min) there no other devices that is using electricity so i am guessing the standby power consumption for my starmex system 1 MUY-GP13VF use around about 3kWh per month as such with this number is known, i will install a 2nd condenser. but it have to hang on the ac leadge wall and windows cannot be open fully first month (dec) higher due to renovations afternoon I notice the aircon take much longer to reach 25c, I tested it 3 times in the afternoon to on ac, it take on average 20 to 50min to reach 25c (sometime fast and sometime almost 1hr and I forgot to see if it sunny or cloudy ) for night it take less then 13min to reach 25c ( for night I only managed to test once so result is once one 1 data) Also my room is pretty well insulated other then the Windows which I plan for adding sec glazing For afternoon why such long cooling down, my best guess is the sunlight heat up the wall and window which keep releasing heat. Also the room temp is much warmer and humid which I guess add to the cause. So if u are someone who one ac in the afternoon or 24/7 type, say if the btu calculator say u need 10k, get 18k model, else ur ac will be like mine who tale almost 1hr to cool to 25c Also my door I buy those cheap $10 bottom door seal and so far no leaking of cool air to the warm side aka no aircon side
